We are a cold plunge equipment rental service in Vancouver, BC and specialize in collaboration & community events to bring the cold plunge experience to local communities!
We are most frequently asked about ice - where to get it, how much to get, and how to manage ice during the event.
Ordering Ice
Ice + Delivery: Dang Good Ice
Includes delivery in 2 hour windows
Order online + pay with credit card up to day before event
We order the Premium Bagged Ice (26.4 LBS)
Package Size: Bag, L28” x W12” x D6”
Package Weight: 26.4lbs lb. bag of cubed ice
How Much Ice To Order
The amount of ice depends:
water temperature
outside air temperature
number of people
length of event
Budget approximately 1/3rd of a large bag of ice per participant.
Managing Ice During Event
Designated ‘Ice Breaker’ whose job it is to add ice throughout the event:
Pre-Chill (15 minutes before event): add at least 1 full bag of ice to start to bring the temperature down
Event Start: add full bag of ice to each tank
During Event: every other round, top off cold plunge tanks with ⅓ bag of ice
