How to Store Ice for a Cold Plunging Event

We are a cold plunge equipment rental service in Vancouver, BC and specialize in collaboration & community events to bring the cold plunge experience to local communities!

A question we get sometimes is what is the best way to store ice before and during the event? There are three options for your pop-up cold plunge event:

Option 1: No ice storage - just keep the ice on the ground!

This option is suitable during outdoor winter events, when the temperatures are low enough to prevent the ice from melting. Just make sure the bags of ice are not resting on a rugged or dirty surface, so to not tear the bags open or dirty the water in the ice tubs.

Option 2: Rent one of our ice storage tanks!

Our ice storage tanks are galvanized stock tanks. Galvanized stock tanks are large, sturdy containers made from galvanized steel. When you use one of our ice storage tanks at your event, your ice will stay clean & cooler for longer, and it will help ensure an organized event space. Plus, they look cool!

Option 3: Rent an ice storage tank from Dang Good Ice

Dang Good Ice is Vancouver’s ice delivery service and we often partner with them to supply ice for Coold cold plunging events. Click here to view their various ice storage solutions!
